Kindergarten students created along side the old classic, The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We explored the magic of color mixing by mixing yellow and blue to create different shades of green for our caterpillars.

During the next class, students made large scaled fruit pieces for our caterpillars to crawl through. We used the below illustration for inspiration:
